The course consists of theory & practical training, followed by an assessment day which consists of both written & practical components.

The RII20220 - Certificate II in Surface Extraction Operations is an ideal starting point for individuals entering the field of open cut coal, metalliferous mines, or quarries. This course emphasises foundational skills, adherence to established procedures, and accountability for work quality, which set the framework for safe and efficient surface extraction operations.

All enrolments are considered tentative until payment has been received. Full course fee must be paid within 48 hours of enrolment.

Upon successful completion participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment of RII20220.
